Over all, it’s a great book. Rather dry, though. I may have a touch of ADD, but I had trouble getting through this one. That’s probably because it’s very academic. Perhaps it’s because I tend to enjoy a more conversational style of writing.
Either way, this book reads just like… well… a book. Somehow the page stepped between me and the author and although the information’s fab, it just didn’t connect with me.
Wish List: I wish this book were an easier read. I’m a busy person and don’t have time (nor the energy) to furrow my brows and concentrate while perusing a title.
But that’s just me. Make it super-easy to read (or utterly compelling) or you’ll lose me.
Final Verdict:
I’ll give it a three out of five stars. Great info. Delivery could use a little perking up. But if you enjoy a more formal style of reading, this now out-of-print title is a virtual font of valuable information.
