Just e-mail me at filbertpublishing(a)filbertpublishing.com and somebody will read your question.  Sometimes we’ll even have time to reply.  Sometimes your question will be used in the “Q&A” section of Writing Etc. – but we’ll never use your name unless you give us permission.

I’m Beth Erickson, the publisher and editor of Writing Etc.

I live in Central Minnesota.  Yes, I’m an actual working writer. I’m the author of ten books and I write ad copy for businesses, corporations, and nonprofit organizations.  I’ve written hundreds of articles for newspapers, newsletters, e-mags, and nationally distributed magazines.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Sociology.  I even attended Sorbonne University in Paris. (Boy, what other profession will let you run off to France just to experience life!)

Filbert Publishing is dedicated to helping you make a great living as a writer. To that end, we not only offer Writing Etc. the free e-mag for writers. We’re also a traditional non-fee charging (ever) publishing company. So far our author list includes writers such as Rusty Fischer, Billie A. Williams, Roscoe Barnes III, Shery Ma Belle Arrieta, and Robert W. Bly.

So here’s my point.  If I can live in the middle of nowhere and live the freelancer life, there’s no reason why you can’t.  All it takes is a little know-how and practice.  And that’s exactly what you’ll get with Writing Etc.
